my most commonly asked questions
Like you, I have far too many ideas and far too little time. So here’s something I hope will help us both. You get the answers to my most frequent queries in double quick time, and I get to focus my energies on creating wonderful new resources for the blog. What’s not to love!
How exciting! I do love a new business. First of all I would suggest you pick up a copy of my books, How to Style your Brand and Brand Brilliance which will walk you through the process step-by-step.
You’ll find a wealth of free resources on the blog which complement the books and will help you in your planning processes. The best place is to start here.
If you’re nearby, you’ll also find a lot of value in attending a Brand Stylist workshop or signing up to one of my online courses.

No. Thank you for the offer. I get so many requests for guest posts, at the moment it’s not the direction that the Brand Stylist Blog is going. If that changes, I’ll be sure to let y

Yes I have a list of recommended resources in the back of How to Style your Brand.
It really depends on your project, and that’s not something you can make a snap decision on. You’ll find a post to help you here on picking the right designer for your project and a great starting point is the designers I’ve featured in both How to Style your Brand and Brand Brilliance.
I do make personalised recommendations for my clients as part of my Brand Consultancy Work.

Your clients will benefit hugely from your unique brand voice and offering. If you’d like help getting clarity around that, my Brand Brilliance workshops or book will help you. Having confidence in your own value and offering is hugely empowering and will serve your business so much more than confusing your own brand with mine.
Yes absolutely! What it’s not ok to do is recreate it and offer it to your own clients. I have invested considerable time and resources on creating, testing and producing what I hope is a really valuable document and I know you can respect that.
No. Thanks for asking. I know you’ll appreciate that the value you got from the resource took not only years of experience but is a unique and copyrighted product of The Brand Stylist. If you’d like support on how to craft your unique message, story and offerings then let’s talk.

All details of where you can get your copy of my books is on the Books page of my site here
That’s great, thanks so much for the interest. The best way to do that is to get on the newsletter list. That’s the first place I put out the call for submissions.

No. I’m pretty generous with the information I share and you’ll find tons of help on self-publishing on the blog but the printer is something I don’t share. It’s just too commercially sensitive.
I’d love you to! My books are available through Bertrams and Gardners wholesalers or if you prefer, you can order direct through me. I can also take bulk orders for your team or as gifts for your clients. Please get in touch to discuss.
My minimum quantity is 10 copies.
Possibly. I’ve been overwhelmed with lovely requests for book signings. Please fill out the contact form, let me know where your shop is, your readership and why you feel Brand Brilliance / How to Style your Brand are such a good fit for your clients and I’ll do my best.
I’d love to write a book on this at some point but for now you’ll find heaps about what I’ve learned on my journey in my posts on self-publishing.
As a small independent publisher we have a limited supply of review copies so I partner with people that are a good fit for my audience. If you’d like to apply for a review copy please email me with your readership stats and a link to your social media channels. Thank you.
Thank you. That’s so kind! I really, really appreciate it. Positive reviews, recommendations and shares are the lifeblood of any successful book and I’m very grateful. Please feel free to share the love on instagram using the hashtags:
Speaking and Questions
I really appreciate the interest and I have limited resources so I try to be available for those brands that align well with The Brand Stylist. If you’d like to interview me please complete the contact form with more details and I’ll be in touch.
That’s so kind of you! I so wish I could catch up for coffee and I know you’ll appreciate that I just don’t have the resources to be able to answer questions on a one to one basis. If you have a specific question do email me and please read my response to the point below. Thank you.
I’m so glad you’re working through the book and I welcome your questions.
I can’t answer individual emails, I just don’t have the resource to but I do read them all, take them on board and do my very best to serve my audience with the limited time and resources I have.
There’s so much happening behind the scenes so please trust that your questions are taken on board and inspiring me to the next book, a future workshop or more meaningful blog content that I hope will be of value. Please do keep on asking and thanks so much for understanding that I’m not always able to reply individually.
Yes I’d love to. My speaking fees start at £500 +VAT and expenses. I don’t normally charge travel expenses within London and Surrey.
The business of Brand Styling
What an excellent career choice! We’re currently compiling a collection of the interviews where I’ve answered this more comprehensively. In the meantime, I’d recommend you read as much as you can, throw your all into learning your craft and focus on creating meaningful brand identities. Develop your own style, find your own way and build your tribe. What an exciting time for you!
That’s so lovely of you to offer! I don’t currently have an opportunities for interns but if that should change, I’ll be sure to let you know.
Working with fiona
Yes, I would love to. If you have a team of willing participants, I can come and deliver any of my existing workshops for a fixed fee. If you would like me to design a bespoke workshop for your team then I’m very happy to discuss possibilities.
I don’t currently have plans to run any more workshops than those listed on The Brand Stylist Site, but thanks for asking.
