thankful

A steady stream of happy coincidences over the last few weeks have left me feeling very thankful. And how very appropriate that it’s thanksgiving today. It’s around this time of year that I tend to naturally reflect on the lovely people who’ve helped make what I do possible.

The last week has seen me run three days of workshops – Colour Psychology for Interiors with the wonderful Sophie Robinson last week and Focus and Thrive with the incredible Elizabeth Cairns this past two days. I’ll be sharing images and thoughts from the courses over the next few weeks, but in the meantime, I am left with a real feeling of gratefulness.

The women I’ve had the pleasure to spend the past week with are amazing. Inspiring. Brave. Visionary. Supportive and Warm Hearted. They’re Creative, Adventurous and Fun. So many moments over the last week have made me feel grateful, happy and inspired.

Seeing how these women interact with each other; inspire each other; encourage each other to be their best selves and also cut themselves a bit of slack has really brought the gratitude home for me. Seeing the connections made, lightbulbs ping and plans for the future created is what it’s all about for me.

So today I really want to say a big thank you to each and every one of you who’ve got me to where I am this year.

When I look back on 2017 I’ll see it as a year in which so many dreams came true. Thank you so much for supporting all of my books, workshops, retreats and more.

I absolutely love what I do. Being able to create a sustainable and successful business that plays to my strengths and works on my terms is a real gift. And without all of your support, enthusiasm and inspiration, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do. So thank you, for making all of this possible.

Those of you that work on your own will know just how wonderful it can be to be able to set the rules, create your own agenda and swerve the office politics. But with no one to bounce ideas off, working on your own can also be lonely if you let it.

So I’m feeling very thankful for the amazing group of collaborators who inspire me to push my creativity and sometimes simply let off steam. But also to those wonderful experts who together, enable us to create something unique and interesting and well beyond the sum of our parts.

There really are too many of you to name, but I’m thinking of all of the events, clients, creative projects and brand collaborations I’ve been a part of this year. I’m thinking of how I just wouldn’t be able to do what I do if it weren’t for the wonderful people who are committed to being brilliant at what they do and make all of our joint projects the best they can be.

An extra thank you to make next year go with a bang

It’s really hard to find a way to thank each of you individually, but it feels right and appropriate to do something that I hope will be of benefit to many of you.

I know that those of you are just starting out, or who are running businesses with high overheads may not yet have been able to take the Colour for Creatives online course, which I know you’ll find really useful. So I wanted to make things a little easier for you.

Until the end of this weekend, you can save £36 if you’re based in the EU or a £30 if you’re outside (it’s all to do with the VAT…) on the Colour for Creatives class. And with lifetime access, you’ll be able to work through the class at a pace to suit you.

Simply add code thankful to your order before midnight GMT on Sunday – or thankfuloutsideeu for those of you beyond the European Union and your discount will be applied.

Those of you who who’ve already signed up, don’t worry, you haven’t been forgotten. I’ll be sending you a very special (additional) offer for the new Design for Go-Getters course as it’s launched…

Thank you, once again, for being brilliant, inspirational and supportive.

Have a wonderful weekend.
